Climate change and the reduction of CO2 emissions are among the greatest challenges of our time. That’s why Synhelion’s mission is to contribute to a net-zero transportation sector. Using the power of the sun, we produce renewable synthetic jet fuel, diesel, and gasoline. Our fuels can directly replace fossil fuels and are fully compatible with the existing global fuel infrastructure, internal combustion and aircraft engines.

This role focuses on the development of innovative energy projects in French-speaking countries, primarily Morocco and France. The position is based in Zurich, while occasional travel to project sites is to be expected.
The ideal candidate is open-minded, professional, entrepreneurial, and comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders. Native-level French and fluency in English are essential; German is an asset.
Your tasks
Secure access to the infrastructure required for future installations
Secure supplies of renewable electricity, biogenic or certified CH4 and CO2, and water
Identify and engage local partners as well as potential sources of funding
Manage permitting and compliance processes
Monitor and control the project, including budget, timeline, reporting, and presentations
Your skills
Shows resilience and maintains progress despite obstacles or uncertainties
Has understanding and curiosity in engineering and financial domains and can quickly grasp more complex topics. Adapts easily and handles a wide variety of tasks when needed
Represents the company professionally and acts with an entrepreneurial, proactive mindset
Demonstrates project management skills, sense of priority, and synthesis
Masters Excel and PowerPoint. MS Project is a plus
